We are happy to announce that iGuide, a nationally co-funded project has kicked off. The goal of the project is to create a system that enables users to have a socially enriched tourist guide service for mobile devices. The technologies invovled in iGuide are many and include social networks, user generated content, text-to-speech narration, Location Based Services, rich multimedia content and real-time 3D graphics.
We are very excited to start working with our project partners, namely: Athena Research and Innovation Center, Αthens Ιnformation Technology, Vodafone, Ιnnoetics, Riverland, The region of eastern Macedonia and Thrace.
